Eric Moehring (Rev.) has spent his entire life working in the church. He grew up in a parsonage
and then served as a teacher and musician in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod for twenty
years. He then served as Director of Music at a large Roman Catholic church in Columbus, Ohio
while he attended Trinity Lutheran Seminary. He was ordained into the ministry of Word and
Sacrament in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in 1996, and then served as pastor at
Faith Lutheran Church in Whitehall, Ohio for nearly 20 years. He and his wife, Elaine, retired in
2018 and moved to Driggs with their son, Alec. Since then Eric has served both as a part-time
musician and supply priest at St. Francis, and also has done supply work in Jackson Hole and
Thayne, WY.
